Looks to me like it's mainly the Zodiac armor (from the gemstore), with a Carapace shoulder piece (& hidden helmet). Most armour is classed under a melee, magic, or. Corax. It's not like the game engine is incapable of handling it due to how medium armor is constructed - armor like Elegy, the WvW armor, Strider's, etc. Armor does not mitigate Condition Damage or falling damage.
